Your letter was truly received and I was glad to hear from you  I am well and hope that you  are the same Father tells me that you was at our house last summer I start April 18 and go to Boston and then I go to work for M .D. J. Major.


I am engaged to stay the season I get twelve dollars a week and Mr, James M Cotton is to travel with me I should be glad to see you at our house next fall for I shall be at home well as it is getting dark  I must close for I must for I must hire yours,  your good line you must excuse my poor writing.
