 My Mother was Friends With......

     by Judy Tomaini Rock

My mother was friends with Frances O'Connor the armless girl. They would go out to eat, and every one would look at Mother, they never once thought to look at Frances, who was eating with her feet.

She wore a cape, and she did it so well, no one ever noticed.

She also worked with "Koo Koo the Bird Girl".

She was real funny. She was always trying to pick up guys. One day she went to Mother and she had two balloons in her bra, and ask Mother how she looked, about that time Betty Broadbent the tattooed girl walked in and said, hi to her and squeezed one of the balloons and it popped, needless to say the bird girl was not a happy camper.

It sure gave everyone else a good laugh.
