Bat Boy Banner

I am trying to find a specific sideshow banner... I am clueless as to where to find it...I have asked many people how to locate it and no one seems to know...My fiancé was in one of Jeff Murray's sideshows in 2002. That is where we met...I want to get him the banner from his show as a wedding gift.  If you or anyone has any info about how to locate a "batboy" banner please let me know. Roxiey, Chicago Illinois

Roxiey, I own one of the banners that was used on that show.  Mark Frierson painted the show front for Jeff Murray's single-O in 2002.  Jeff took his Bat Boy show on the road to the East Coast that season.  From everything I heard Bat Boy was quite a success.  The last I heard of Bat Boy was that he met a young lady and left the show.  I guess that was you?

Now for a little history on the banners.  Mark Frierson posted the banners as a complete package in March of 2003 on an Internet auction site.  The first time the banners were posted  they did not sell.  They were posted again at a lower starting price.  No sale, I contacted Mark Frierson to see if he had any interest in breaking up the show front and selling me the Middle banner, it was the one over the entrance to the show.  Mark agree and I bought the banner.  After that, the remaining banners were posted for auction again.  A few days after the auction closed I was contacted by Mark, he had a buyer that was interested in the whole show front and wanted to know if I would sell the Bat Boy banner back to him.  I agreed but the buyer backed out of the sale and I kept the banner.  The banners were posted again at auction.  They were sold to a collector, who I believe lives somewhere in the mid-western part the country.  I understand that the collector that bought the two other Bat Boy banners are still interested in the banner I have.

I have contacted Mark to see if the collector is interested in selling either of his banners.  Now I am waiting to complete the rest of the story.  John Robinson, Sideshow World
