Hello,
 
I am Sandi Turton, daughter of the late Rev. Ronald Turton (a/k/a "Heaven Patch" to his carney friends).  My father was chaplain to the carney & circus worlds for over 50 years. 
 
I grew up around wonderful carnival and circus greats and some of my fondest memories are of Dub Duggan telling his stories about Marie O'Day and other "acts" he had on the road. 
 
My mother and I were recalling some of the terrific people we met over the years and she was trying to find information on a sideshow "freak", billed as "The Ugliest Man in the World" (not the elephant man).
 
Try as I might, I am unable to come up with information on him or his wife.  I was hoping you could help.

Hi Sandi, Maurice Tillet, "The French Angel" was also a professional wrestler.

 

His face was so frightening he scared his opponents in the ring. His tag line (sub title was "worlds ugliest man).
