Pawnee Bill’s Last Ride
Six mounted cowboys escorted the casket
bearing the body of Major Gordon W.
(Pawnee Bill) Lillie to the 82 year old
pioneer’s last resting place today.
Attending the funeral were hundreds of
old time friends, many cowboys and
Pawnee Indians who know him as their
white chief.
