Hand-painted sideshow banner sign of “Fivey the five legged
dog”. Yes, you can see this real wonder of the world in person
at Palace of Wonders. Curiosities and oddities like “Fivey” have
been the staple attractions of the traditional American modern
sideshows.
After the short intermission, the live stage show resumed at the
Palace of Wonders for the fund-raising for the Washington Humane
Society. (The performers featured here are professionally
trained and well experienced people, so, please do not try this
at home.)
A comedy burlesque by L’il Dutch, invisible dog, and Gutter.
This is his first stage appearance.
Mab just Mab on the “Bed of Nail” with a girl on her tummy. It
must hurt and surely not good for her designer dress but this is
for the noble cause of saving cute dogs and cats in Washington
DC.
The classic sideshow performance “Pain Proof” by Mab just Mab.
It must really hurt. The pieces of cement blocks were also
auctioned out for the fund raising, of course, ladies and
gentlemen.
(POW designer and booker) Thrill Kill Jill in hot tiger-striped
cat costume undertook an art performance simulating 1960’s
“Happening” of Fluxus in New York City --- or was she just
sweeping the stage?

“Mind-reading” magic trick by Professor Sprocket added another
$5 for the fundraising.

Dancing in the air, 20-feet above the ground (without any safety
net!), by Moira Lee simulating the elegant yet dynamic dance of
the ancient Chinese angel, was truly breathtaking.

The grand finale of the night was the stage sideshow classic,
the fire dancing by a cat girl, Silver Raven.

Professor and the kitty. (A vaguely obscene?)

The grand finale! Thank you everyone!

View of the fund-raising charity event seen from the 1st floor
main stage. The place was packed with great crowd.
Final Note:
The event of the Palace of Wonders attracted over 130 people and
over $1,300 was raised for the Washington Humane Society. Thank
you very much for everyone who attended the event!
