Part 4

A local take-out place within the amusement park district. The second floor’s poorly done food signs were made by local young artists as one of many government-funded (tax money used) community upgrading projects called Coney Island Renaissance. (August 23, 2007)

Eating, riding, and gaming in the Amusement Park district. The Cyclone roller coaster is seen in the far back. (August 18, 2007)

Small take-out places like these that are seen here in the Amusement Park district, are reminiscent to ones in Mexico. (August 18, 2007)

“Pina Colada free refill.”   Ahh! Life by the beach. Nothing but alcoholic drinks all day long. This private vender is also located by the Astroland Amusement Park. (August 18, 2007)

Franks by the Surf Avenue entrance of the Astroland Amusement Park.  It is right across from the Cyclone roller coaster. (August 18, 2007)

A game center cannot quite compete without hot dogs, soda, and ice cream. 2 hot dogs and a soda for $2.99 is a steal - Coney Island style! (August 18, 2007)

Small venders like these are located by the main entrance of the Astroland Amusement Park on Surf Avenue.  (August 18, 2007)

More small venders by the main entrance of the Astroland Amusement Park on Surf Avenue.  Seen in the back is the Wonder Wheel. (August 18, 2007)

A take-out place in the amusement park district by the entrance of the Deno’s Wonder Wheel Amusement Park. The hand-painted signs here were also made by local young artists as one of many government-funded (tax money used) community upgrading projects. (August 18, 2007)

The interior view of the above shown take-out place. It smells great  - but it is really hot inside here! (September 3, 2007)
