Brooklyn Wall of Remembrance at Keyspan Park on Surf Avenue. (September 11, 2007) The rape and mass murder of New York City by “Islamo Fascists” (term used by the President George Bush) called 911 not only affected people who live & work in the immediate area of the World Trade Center’s Twin Towers. Hundreds of Brooklynites were murdered and injured. REMEMBER 911!
“This wall is dedicated to honoring 115 fallen firefighters from Brooklyn firehouses who gave the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001.”

One of my three “Cabinets of Curiosities” with specimens, artifacts and gaffs of the odd, mythic, and bizarre located in the first and second floor lobbies of the Brooklyn Public Library - Coney Island Branch (1901 Mermaid Avenue, Brooklyn, NY 11224). The contents of the cabinets change periodically. Exhibition is FREE and open for public. Wheelchair-accessible.
