& More

"I was born in 1964 into a Felliniesque household surrounded by the multi-faceted suburbs of Los Angeles.  As the youngest of seven in the late 60s, my family was my very own sideshow. The first 5 years blew my mind wide open and formed my artistic sensibilities. L.A. was full of talent and opportunities and I quickly hooked up with a group of artists and began exhibiting.

"Wherever I work, travel or live I seek out local sub-culture, what I find is the emergence of a true global culture"

At 19, I was befriended by a tribe of rainbow gypsies who were artists, dancers, costumers etc...They introduced me to an extended family of 3rd generation carnies who had come to Hollywood in the 1930s because they were some of the very few who knew how to do stage and lighting work. By now they were all Production Designers, Art Directors and Set Decorators. They gave me a shot, and it turned out that my varied and prolific styles were very useful. That's how I got my modest start working on quirky independent films.

The banners shown here were for a film that was based on a very long running play called, "The Fantastiks".
