He Flies from Ship to keep Radio Appointment

Newark, N.J. Robert L. "Believe it or Not" Ripley waving hello from the cockpit of the Ludington Amphibian Airplane that landed him here after he was taken off the S.S. Leviathan when that vessel was still 50 miles from the mainland.  The transfer was made necessary by an engagement Ripley had to speak over the radio today.  He was just completed a trip through Europe seeking more of his remarkable facts.
