Zat Zam the
Magician and Famous Knife Thrower

Born
in the 1840's and died in 1937. Zat Zam
developed the knife throwing act and appeared before
museums in the days before vaudeville. Zat Zam
traveled with Popcorn Johnny's Circus and also with
Ringling Brothers when they had only six or seven
wagons. Later he was with Gordon Lily,
(Pawnee Bill) who also partnered with the
Buffalo Bill show. He was famous for
developing the throwing act of a woman against a
board and outlining her body with throwing knives... |
