Dip Dogs & Caramel Corn

You just gotta have one!

Corn Dogs, Pizza, Cotton Candy ... the carnival just isn't the same without at least one tummy-ache (or maybe you'll lose that meal on the tilt-a-whirl!)

These are the foods you'd miss if they weren't there, the cotton candy your kids just have to have, the hot dogs that just don't taste the same at home, the lemonade and Sno-Kones that banish the heat of a summer day.

The flashing lights, the sights, the sounds what would it be like on the Midway without the smell of food that brings back so many memories of childhood. Elephant Ears, Boil Peanuts, Gyros, Kebabs, all that GREAT food. Hamburgers, French Fries, Funnel Cakes never tasted so good as they do just before you climb on the Big Eli Wheel.

Thanks to Wayne Keyser for all his hard work in assembling these recipes and giving us permission to reprint them here.

So get out your pots  and pans and light up that stove,

We have for you Dip Dogs and Cameral Corn.

Some of these specialties can be duplicated exactly at home (bugs and grease optional), others are the exclusive product of some very specialized and expensive machines. Here are the recipes for making a few of those fabulous and delicious items in your own kitchen.

Think you know everything about hot dogs or waffles? You gotta have one of these.
