Good day fine readers of Sideshow World, this is your friendly freak known as the Black Scorpion “Master of the Slight of Claw” and member of the 999 Eyes Freak Show http://www.999eyes.com, coming to you from the borough of Brooklyn, New York.

You may be asking yourself, what is this freak Texan doing in NYC? Well to answer you, I’ve quit my day job in TV news to work the summer here at Coney Island’s Sideshows by the Seashore- doing my bit to “Keep Austin Weird” here in the “Big Dimple”.

I am documenting my adventures here not only in my Freak Notebook, but also through photos and digital shorts.  I present to you avid readers my 1st, in what I hope to be many, digital short: “A Coney Island Day”. This is a simple video documenting the events of June 3rd 2008 as Coney’s MC Donny Vomit and I do some outside work on the sideshows banner line.
