January as part of a
nationwide search for the hottest performers
in the country to
compete in the third
season of NBC's #1 summer series AMERICA'S
GOT TALENT.
A ventriloquist from
Dallas, Texas, Terry Fator's life changed
forever last August
when he was crowned
second season champion. Not only did
he win the $1,00,000
grand prize, but his
lifelong dream to headline on the Las Vegas
strip came true when he
signed a 2008 contract
with The Las Vegas Hilton in a deal worth
more than $1.5 million
dollars, which he'll
kick off on December 31st with a special New
Year's Eve
performance.
The biggest search for
America's greatest performers will take
place in various
major cities across
the country, including New York, Los
Angeles, Chicago, Nashville,
Orlando, Charlotte,
Atlanta and Dallas. For more

open to any act of any age, AMERICA'S GOT
TALENT
has brought the
variety from across the country. Each week,
the show features a colorful
array of hopeful
stars, including singer, dancers, comedians,
contortionists,
impressionists,
jugglers, magicians and ventriloquists, all
vying for their chance to strut
and perform on stage
in front of a panel of celebrity judges in
the hopes they'll be chosen
a winner by the
viewing audience.
AMERICA'S GOT TALENT
was this year's #1 summer series in total
viewers,
averaging 11.4 million
persons. The finale on August 21
garnered 4.2 rating/12 share in
adults 18 - 49 and
13.9 million viewers overall - a new series
record in total viewers, with
a 16 percent increase
over its finale the year before.
