I have been in contact with a 91 year old lady who was friends for many years with my Aunt Ella.

She related a story about when Aunt Ella and Uncle Bob first left for the circus. They were on their way to Florida and had pulled off the side of the road with their travel trailer to sleep for the night. During the night someone broke in their trailer and tried to rob them.

I have found out that Aunt Ella always slept in the nude as clothing was hard for her to take on and off.

Somehow she pushed the robber onto the sofa and sat on him until my Uncle Bob could call the police. The man kept begging her to let him up, but she continued to sit on him until the police came.

I would have love to see that police report....circus fat lady sits on thief!!
