Clem Sohn, of Lansing, Mich., the original "bat-man", who imitates the birds by fling through the air before he opens his parachute, will be one of the big attractions on the Thrill Day program at the Minnesota State Fair which opens on Saturday, August 31.  Friday, September 6 has been designated Thrill Day.

Sohn uses a bat-wing arrangement sewed to the sleeves and trousers of his flying suit which permits him to dive, zoom and soar for two breath-taking minutes before he flutters to the ground.
