Groomed for Livermore Day

Brooklyn Supreme, biggest horse in the world, being groomed for Livermore Day at the Golden Gate International Exposition on next Sunday, May 21, 1939.

Livermore, horse conscious because of its annual rodeos, has probably never seen a horse like Brooklyn Supreme in action.    These girls from the Helene Hughes Studios are dolling up the big horse in front of the Alameda-Contra Costa County building, one of the California Commission group on Treasure island.
