BIG and LITTLE WHOA

Brothers Rich and Chuck (center) Dugger of Indianapolis, put rubber shoes on two horses billed as the world's largest and smallest now appearing with the Hetzer Circus & Ice Show at the State Fairgrounds.

The big horse, named Brewster, is 20 hands tall and weighs 2,500 pounds.

The tiny one, Thistle, is 19 inches tall and weighs 45 pounds.  The little one rides the big one in the act.  For a size comparison, Lee Noblett, the handler holding Brewster's halter, is 6 feet 2 inches tall.  The show continues through Saturday.
