About Noel
Benedetti:
She is an
unreasonably passionate sideshow nerd. She grew up in Sarasota, FL and
then spent three years in Madison, WI, neighboring the renowned town of
Baraboo. It was in rural Wisconsin that she picked up a summer job as a
carnie, working stick joints. After that experience, Noel moved to Austin,
TX where she is currently active in the sideshow arts performing fire
eating and spinning under the alias Ballyhoo Betty. Aside from spending
her formative years in cities with rich circus traditions, she loves the
pageantry, fanfare and history of the circus and sideshow.
