Being Nearly EIGHT FEET HIGH 486 Pounds Weight, and Only 21 Years of Age

The following From the Chicago Tribune Speaks for Itself

"The 'big Injun' is well worth seeing.  He is a crowder and no mistake. Imagine a man a foot taller then Long John, (Wentworth, the present Mayor of Chicago,) and as stout built to his height, as George Anderson or Alderman Sitts, and you have some idea of this giant's size.  He is 7 feet 7 inches high, and weighs 486 pounds, or nearly a quarter of a ton!  We assisted in taking some measurement of him.  He measures around the chest, 58 inches.  It takes a good size man to girt 38, and a majority of men fall below 36 inches.  His outstretched arms are nearly 8 feet, and from the point of his shoulder to the extremity of his hand is 3 feet 4 inches.  His thigh measures 34 inches in circumference," &c.,  &c.
