Suzie (Charlotte Vogel) was from Germany, a very sweet
disposition, was known as the "Elephant Skin Girl".

In 1960, Peter
Hennen asked my assistance in locating attractions for his show.
When we closed at the Garden in
New York, I sent Suzie to him.
She worked for Pete several
years.
On one occasion, he had signs
advertising her as an "Outer Space Monster".
She was hurt by this and she
protested,
"I am not a monster"!
The signs were removed.
When Pete ended his sideshow,
Suzie retired to Germany.
