SQUIRREL TREE
Little Squirrels made
of steel run up an d sown the side of the steel tree, which is 8
feet high. The squirrels tip over when hit and on coming up
erect themselves automatically, and require no attention except a
coat of whitewash now and them.

This is a piece of a Shooting Gallery made by W F Mangels of
Coney Island NY circa 1900. Mangles galleries often included a
squirrel tree as shown in this illustration from an early 1900s
catalog. A complete Mangles tree is not known to exist.
